On January 12, 2009, the Expert Panel delivered its final report along with a draft Securities Act to the federal Minister of Finance and the provincial and territorial Ministers responsible for securities regulation. This concludes a 10-month work effort to provide independent advice and recommendations on how to improve the structure, content, and enforcement of securities regulation in Canada.

On this website, you will be able to access the final report and the draft Securities Act as well as the key inputs that helped to influence the recommendations and conclusions contained in these documents, including research, written submissions, and stakeholder meetings.
